Jill began her tennis journey at just five years old and started competing at the age of seven. Her natural talent, dedication, and competitive drive quickly saw her rise through the national junior ranks, and by the age of nine, she was already representing Malaysia on the international stage.

A former Malaysian National Junior Champion, Jill was ranked No. 1 in Malaysia in the Girls’ 10 & Under category for two consecutive years, earning the Ace Award in both 2018 and 2019. She also won seven of eight national LTAM tournaments in 2019, claimed the Genting Junior Tour Girls’ 10 & Under title, and travelled across Malaysia competing in the National Junior Circuit, where she secured numerous tournament victories. Her international experience included representing Malaysia in Girls’ 10 & Under competitions in Shenzhen, China, in both 2018 and 2019.

In 2020, Jill took a break from competitive tennis, opening the door to a different kind of experience. During this period, she worked alongside coaches in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and gained hands-on experience working with children across various age groups. From helping young athletes prepare for competition to developing their skills and confidence, the experience allowed Jill to discover and develop her own coaching abilities while drawing on the lessons and discipline she had gained throughout her tennis career.

Now, Jill has returned to tennis with a new perspective and a clear purpose: to help develop the next generation of players. Combining her experience as a former national No. 1 and Malaysian representative with her early coaching experience, she aims to bring out the best in every student—helping them develop not only their tennis skills, but also the discipline, confidence, resilience, and competitive mindset needed to progress both on and off the court.

For Jill, coaching is an opportunity to pass on the knowledge and experiences that shaped her own journey, while helping young players discover just how far their potential can take them.
